Our Clinical Coordinators

Peggy LukĀ  (Dental Assistant)

I realized early on that I enjoyed working with children so when I entered college, I interned at a camp that specialized in understanding and working with kids with special needs. Realizing that working with children is what I'm passionate about, I then worked in a cognitive research lab that specialized in children. After graduating GSU in May of 2016 with a Bachelor's in Psychology, I decided to try out something new - pediatric dentistry! I hope to continue my education in dentistry and orthodontics. In my spare time, I enjoy binge watching Netflix, playing with my dogs Sammi, Mylo and Toto, and trying out new places to eat.

Adrianna Martinez (Dental Assistant)

Adriana is a dental assistant in Windward Pediatric Dentistry. She was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Adriana was homeschooled throughout her high school years using an online program called James Madison High School from which she already graduated. Due to her desire to work in the dental field, she started out as an intern in the office to see if it was the right fit for her. Eventually, she became part of the clinical staff and loves her job! She especially loves being able to work with kids. In her free time, Adriana likes to grab a cup of coffee at Starbucks, shop at the mall, watch movies, spend time with friends and family, and does volunteer work teaching people about the Bible.

James Oda (Hygienist)

James was born in Long Island NY, grew up in metro Atlanta and throughout all of Florida. He graduated from the GSU dental hygiene program and currently works at Windward Pediatric Dentistry. He never thought he would be working in a dental office...especially a pediatric office...but during his time at the GSU dental program he learned that most of his fellow students did not want to see kids; so whenever a child patient would come into the clinic they would always beg him to take them. After a while he realized that he really liked working with kids: they listen, they are curious about what we are doing, and they are fun to be around. "Naturally I'm just a big kid so it works out." Outside of the dental office James is always working on his cars as he states "I'm a muscle car fanatic! It cant be loud enough or fast enough for me."
